Effective 01 March 2024, the Malaysian Government has announced that the service tax will be increased from 6% to 8%.

A Toursim Tax of RM10nett per room, per night applies to foreign passport holders arriving from 1st January 2023 onwards. The hotel will be collecting the tax on behalf of the government upon check in or upon bill settlement.
